Morocco Takes Part in 18th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement in Baku
The 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement opened on Friday in Baku, Azerbaijan, under the theme “Upholding the Bandung Principles to ensure concerted and adequate response to the challenges of the contemporary world”.
Morocco^s delegation at this summit was headed minister delegate to the minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mohcine Jazouli.
The summit of NAM, which Azerbaijan will chair for the period 2019-2022, is attended by representatives of 160 countries, including heads of State and government from about 60 countries, in addition to the leaders of several international organizations.
The summit is expected to adopt several recommendations at the end of its proceedings, particularly the final declaration, the Baku political declaration and a resolution on Palestine
