Morocco Advocates Maghreb Union’s common future
By African Bulletin on July 31, 2013
Morocco is still confident that a new order will soon emerge in the Maghreb Region, to allow its five member countries to build a common future, through the setting up of mechanisms of interdependence and integration, and the implementation of a policy of free movement of people, goods and capital, King Mohammed VI has declared. The achievement of this goal requires all to abstain from putting up artificial barriers and imposing conditions, but instead try to cope with the changes that occurred in the region, King Mohamed VI insisted in a speech made on the occasion of the Feast of the Throne, which the kingdom celebrates each year on July 30.
