Togo: Gilbert Houngbo reappointed Prime Minister

Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe reiterated Fossoun Gilbert Houngbo as prime minister , according to a presidential decree published on Friday, and echoed on national television stating that the : “The President of the Republic has renewed its confidence in Gilbert Houngbo Fossoun to operate as Prime Minister, Head of Government”.
Houngbo will carry out “consultations and discussions with the Entire political class for the formation of a new government. On May 5, Houngbo had submitted his resignation to Mr Gnassingbe, who was calling for a new government of “broad political opening.
