By on May 11, 2010
The Guinean transition is sailing slowly but surely toward the right port. The acting president came to the rescue Captain Dadis Camara whose ship was pitching. General Sékouba Konaté never missed an opportunity to confirm his mastery in maneuvering the political helm of the country.

After fixing the presidential election on the 27th of June by decree, the acting president sets the campaign period from May 17 to June 26, therefore, all legible candidates for the country’s Presidency will compete for their compatriots’ vote conquest.
The satisfaction of contenders will rely on the brilliance of their respective programs and promises, but also on the means engaged.  The Guinean political actors and the civil society are excited by the coming event whose opening is like “brand new equipment to all…wondering how to use it”. This presidential election promises to be the first truly democratic one in Guinea since independence for nearly 52 years; so let’s make a wish of “Fair winds and smooth seas to the event”.
