King Mohammed VI Holds Phone Conversation with Turkish President

King Mohammed VI received on Monday a phone call from Turkish President Tayeb Recip Erdogan, the Royal Office said Monday.

Talks focused on the situation in Middle East, particularly developments in the Palestinian issue.

President Erdogan welcomed on this occasion the role of the King, President of Al-Quds Committee, at the service of this noble cause and in favor of preserving the holy sites, the statement added.

The two heads of state, also highlighted the quality and depth of the longstanding bonds and cooperation between Morocco and Turkey.

On this occasion, the Turkish president invited the King for an official visit to Turkey, the statement concluded.
