Uganda: The Lord Resistance Army again…
By African Bulletin on March 31, 2010
The LRA rebels who fled Uganda terrorises populations on the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo and RCA. Bands of armed men are regularly assaulting villages, loot the markets, taking men and women hostages. On March, the LRA rebels attacked a village near Dungu in north eastern DRC, near the RCA and Sudan.
The defenceless people live in constant fear of further attacks, and local authorities are unable to counter these fierce and bloody attackers. In late February, the town of Central Zacko has been targeted.
