General Nouri Mahamat, former Secretary of Defence and the founder of the Union for Strength, democracy and development (UFDD) who leads the new coalition declared: «our ambition is to chase away Deby of N’Djamena and to establish a period of pre-transition. There is no more security in Chad, and it is Idriss Deby who forces us to take the arms and struggle “.
The founders of the ANCD denounce in particular “the lack of democracy, the deterioration of all social structures. They are questioning and calling to reform all the political agreements that have been passed for more than 19 years in Chad. They are projecting to establish “a period of pre-transition once they take over the power, organise for a sovereign national forum(National Consultation)  which will appoint an interim president for the period of transition and will fix the duration. The transition will end with the organisation of the presidential election in which the interim president will not be a candidate.
