france-africaThe summit France-Africa has just ended by a plea. President Nicolas Sarkozy wants henceforth the relation between France and Africa to be transparent and looking forward a better future. Is it a new strategy, for France, to maintain its positions? Any way and what is clear evidence, the African continent is more and more eyed not only by China but also India and Brazil.

While the French daily paper, ” Le Midi Libre ” wrote that “ “if France  wants to keep its privileged links, it has to redefine its African policy, by going out of the neo-colonial behaviour, and by reshaping the bridges on normal and calmed relations; the newspaper, “le midi-pyrénéen”  forecasts that the black continent will be inescapable. It will count two billion inhabitants, with its largest farming surfaces of the earth and its most important natural resources. It is thus a vital opportunity to redo business with Africa, on clear and transparent basis “. These two reports would explain then about 200 French and African companies, invited for this summit, which adopted a professional chart for the investors on the African continent.
President Nicolas Sarkozy announced that France was going to take initiatives to increase the international weight of Africa. He considered inadmissible that no African country sits in the permanent council of United Nations. Other promise, French president assures that he is going “to work with the African countries on the questions of preservation of peace, combating piracy and terrorism.
