Sudan: the new Omar AL Bachir’s government

The Sudanese president Omar Al-Bachir formed on Monday a new government of 35 members, seven weeks after the national elections.
The Sudanese Head of State announced the appointment of the Ministers and those of State, among whom Ali Karti, of the National Congress Party – ruling party, NCP – as Minister for the Foreign Affairs, and Luwal Deng, from the Popular Movement of Liberation of Sudan ( SPLM), as Minister of Oil and Hydrocarbons.
The new government cabinet will stand for 35 Ministers, against 31 in the precedent, as well as 42 Ministers of State, the official report has specified.
