Guinea: The African Union supports the political transition

Jean Ping then met with Guinea’s Prime Minister Jean-Marie Doré, who gave enough assurance on the current situation in Guinea.
The Chairman of the Commission was also successively received by the President of the National Transition (CNT), Hadja Rabiatou Sera Diallo, by the members of Independent National electoral Commission (CNEI), and the Minister of Territorial Administration and Political Affairs.
He then met with the three topped leaders of the June 27 poll: Dallein Cellou Diallo of the Union of the Democratic Forces (UFDG), Alpha Conde of the Rally of the People of Guinea (RPG) and Sidya Toure of the Union of the Republican Forces (UFR).
With all these political actors, Jean Ping has discussed the issue of the presidential elections and especially the first round results and also the second round ballot to be held soon.
He also exchanged views with all the 24 candidates who participated in the presidential election of June 27.
