Congo/Morocco: Establishment of air services

The Republic of Congo and the Kingdom of Morocco will soon proceed with the joint operation of their air services. The agreement establishing air services between the two parties were adopted on August 27 in Brazzaville by the Congolese Senate. Signed May 9, 2007 in Rabat, this agreement is organising the operation of air services, and offering a framework allowing designated airlines of both countries to better exploit these services.
The agreement with Morocco provides for the exchange of aviation information and data between the two countries. The agreement between Kenya and the Congo is also in the context of establishing air services between the two parties. Aircraft of the Royal Air Morocco Airlines and Kenya Airways serve the airport platform in Brazzaville. These two bills were presented and defended by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of State, Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation and Shipping, Martin Parfait Aimé Coussoud who said: “The Minister of State reassured that the Government is working to establish a strong national airline, able to exercise reciprocity.
The new Air transport agreement which governs the establishment of air services between Morocco and Congo is Liberal in nature, and the purpose is to supplement one another in terms of resources, facilities and services, and strengthening the ties that have long existed between the two countries.
