On Nov. 12, 2012, the trial of former Prime Minister al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmoudi started on Monday. Mahmoudi, who served as the last prime minister in former leader Muammar Gaddafi’s administration from 2006 to 2011, fled to Tunisia in September 2011 after the armed rebels seized the Libyan capital of Tripoli during the unrest.
