The Moroccan King arrives this afternoon to Ivory Cost

After his successful visit to Dakar, the King of Morocco Mohammed Vi is expected to arrive this afternoon to Abidjan as a part of his African official tour, which began last Friday with a visit to Senegal.

At the Ivorian economic capital, Abidjan, King Mohammed VI will meet President Alassane Ouattara, with whom he will lead a series of talks, and co-chair of ceremonies findings of bilateral protocols, including on investment and economic cooperation and social issues.

The visit of the sovereign will give the opportunity, vitality, economic ties and investment between the two countries, which together form, models of ingenious creations of wealth in Africa.

Areas forming centers of excellence in Morocco and opportunities of success between the two countries emerge: Finance and banking, construction, water, energy and housing, pharmaceutical, food and telecoms, are areas of activity where Morocco and Ivory Coast, are candidates to create Success-story in Africa, through their associations.

Morocco is  a strategic ally of the trend towards the emergence of Ivory Coast. On the political and security front, we emphasize the great convergence of views between the kingdom and the Côte d’Ivoire, the main topics engaging the region and the continent.

Ivory Cost chairing ECOWAS (Economic Community of the West African) and Morocco non-permanent member in the Security Council of the UN, are engaged in the fight against terrorism northern Mali and the restoration of the territorial integrity of this country.

The will of the King Mohammed VI to promote South-South inter-African relations and a united and prosperous Africa taking its rightful place in international relations should clearly manifest in the talks between the leaders; King Mohammed VI and President Alassane Ouattara.
