Bus explosion kills S.Koreans in Egypt
An explosion ripped through a tour bus on the Egyptian side of the border with Israel on Sunday.
The blast killed 3 South Koreans, their Egyptian driver and left 15 others injured.
Egyptian security authorities say the bus exploded near a checkpoint in the Egyptian town of Taba. The South Korean Foreign Ministry says 32 South Koreans were on board the bus at the time.
Local media say the South Korean tourists were on their way to Israel after visiting Mount Sinai.
The security authorities suspect the explosion was caused by a bomb planted on the bus by terrorists.
Islamic militants in Egypt have been attacking military and police buildings on the Sinai Peninsula since the military ousted President Mohamed Morsi last July.
The security authorities are on increased alert now that tourists have been targeted.
