Morocco: the King Mohammed VI Gives Instructions to Face Cold Wave Forecast in Some Moroccan Regions
The King Mohammed VI gave His instructions to the ministries of Interior and Health, the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie and the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity to further their mobilization in order to face the significant drop in temperature forecast in some Moroccan regions, mainly in the Middle and High Atlas, the Interior Ministry said.
Pursuant to the Royal instructions, field hospitals will be set up in the provinces of Azilal, Khénifra and Midelt and all necessary measures will be taken, in coordination with the local authorities, to provide the necessary assistance to the populations concerned in order to guarantee their security, the ministry pointed out in a statement.
All the means and equipment will also be mobilized and ready to be used in case of necessity, the same source added.
