Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Arrives in Qatar
Morocco’s King Mohammed VI, accompanied by his brother Prince Moulay Rachid, arrived on Thursday in Doha, coming from the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of a fraternity and working visit to the State of Qatar.
At his arrival at the Hamad International Airport, the King Mohammed VI was greeted by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
After reviewing a detachment of the Guard of honor, the King Mohammed VI, accompanied by the Prince Moulay Rachid and the Emir of Qatar, was greeted by the vice-Emir of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Thani and Qatar’s ambassador in Rabat Abdulla bin Falah bin Abdulla Al Dossari.
The sovereign was also greeted by Morocco’s ambassador in Doha El Mekki Gaouane and members of the Moroccan diplomatic mission in Qatar.
After a short break at the VIP lounge at the Hamad International airport, the procession of the two heads of states headed for the “Diwan Emiri” (Emir’s office) where the two leaders King will hold talks.
The King Mohammed VI is accompanied, during this visit, by an important delegation composed of the sovereign’s advisors Taieb Fassi Fihri, Fouad Ali El Himma, Yassir Zenagui and Abdeltif Menouni, Chargé de mission at the royal office Mohamed Kettani and foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar.
